Royal Albert Hall Performance – Echoes 7 – ‘Songs for Life’

Ten of our Key Stage 2 children were given the amazing opportunity to sing with 1,800 children at The Royal Albert Hall on Monday 20th March as part of the Echoes 7 – ‘Songs for Life‘. The children travelled to London by train and, after practising all day with the 52 other participating schools, performed the world premiere of Scott Stroman’s “Songs for the Seasons”. These were a set of 8 poems written by Enid Blyton and set to music by Stroman. The children were accompanied by an orchestra from the Buckinghamshire Learning Trust Music team. It was a fantastic celebration of music and an experience the children will never forget.

The children who took part were: Hannah Abbott, Erin Betts, Emily Bosley, Hattie Cyster, Izzie Dixon, Grace Handford, Isabelle Seago, Mair Steele-Tyson, Juliet Wade and Beth Wood.
